Regional Sales Support Strengthened

Permadoor, the UK’s number one composite door supplier to the social housing sector, has appointed Keith Swinbank as the new regional sales controller. Keith joins Permadoor from Direct Windows where he has worked as North East Account Manager since 2006. Prior to this, Keith worked at Sekura Composite Doors for five years where he developed his in-depth knowledge and experience of the composite door market.
Permadoor has recently secured the ISO14001 as part of its commitment to minimise environmental impact on local communities. A ‘greener’ range of products was launched earlier this year bringing post-consumer waste back into use. Anticipating changing market demands, Permadoor has also expanded current product range to incorporate four new fibreglass doors. Keith says “by using recycled composite material (RCM), Permadoor shows commitment to the environmental concerns of the social housing market. Our next-generation product range will help make homes warmer and more energy efficient while meeting government ‘green’ targets.”
Keith will have sole responsibility for account management and business development in the north east and Yorkshire regions. “Growing customer awareness is driving the sustainability agenda industry-wide. Promoting Permadoor and our green messages in such a large area is a challenge, but one that will be key in maintaining our market share.” Tim Roome, managing director of Permadoor, has welcomed Keith to the company. “In the social housing sector, sustainability is a key issue. I am delighted to have Keith on board and am confident that with his varied and vast experience, he will be a huge asset in helping to uphold Permadoor as market leader.”
